Meet  Power twitter , an addon which improves twitter in many ways. If you use twitter and dont like the minimilastic approach, then Power twitter is the way to go.

What does Power twitter do?

Power twitter unwinds short urls so you know where you are going before clicking.

Power twitter lets you view youtube videos, embedded content without having to go out of twitter site for viewing them.  And yes, it also can show google maps within the urls.

Power twitter also adds a Search your own updates search box to your profile , so that you can search your tweets. This is quite handy if you want to quickly locate a tweet.

It also has little features like showing previous tweets of a person if you hover the mouse over the icon , marking your top friends, etc.

Finally, there is settings menu where you can change any of these settings.

Although Power twitter is bit sluggish sometimes it’s worth it.

Lists are timelines you build yourself, consisting of friends, family, co-workers, sports teams, you name it. You’re part of a small group receiving this feature, so don’t tweet about it yet!
